Marico Ltd Reports 23% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27
Marico Ltd grew consolidated revenue to Rs 3,957 crore in the first quarter of FY27, driven by strong domestic volume growth and international expansion.
Marico Ltd reported a 23% increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 3,957 crore for the first quarter of FY27. The company saw its India business achieve 11% volume growth, the highest in eight quarters, with the Parachute brand recording its strongest volume growth in five years as copra prices fell.
Reports on net profit for the quarter vary slightly, with one source citing a 27% increase to Rs 652 crore and another reporting a 25% rise to Rs 630 crore. International growth reached 15% in constant currency terms, fueled by performance in Vietnam and the Middle East and North Africa as the company works to diversify revenue away from Bangladesh.
Marico expects double-digit revenue growth to exceed Rs 15,000 crore by the end of the current fiscal year. The company stated that the portfolio is being designed to compound more profitably with better operating leverage over time.
