Abu Dhabi Adds 800 Taxis to Improve Airport Mobility
The Integrated Transport Centre added 800 taxis to Abu Dhabi's transport network to increase passenger capacity at Zayed International Airport and across the city.
The Integrated Transport Centre, also known as Abu Dhabi Mobility, expanded Abu Dhabi's transport network by adding 800 new taxis to improve mobility for travelers. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Airports to streamline journeys to and from Zayed International Airport.
The fleet expansion consists of 500 luxury taxis dedicated specifically to airport passengers and 300 taxis deployed across Abu Dhabi city. These additional vehicles are intended to meet rising demand during peak periods and provide passengers with more options for onward travel between the airport and various destinations throughout the emirate.
