Rubrik Expands Project Hourglass Alliance to Secure AI Agents
Rubrik added AHEAD, Trace3, and WWT to its Project Hourglass partner alliance to deploy Rubrik Code Guardian for AI-driven red-team analysis.
Rubrik expanded its Project Hourglass partner alliance by adding AHEAD, Trace3, and World Wide Technology to a group that already includes Cognizant, Deloitte, LTM, HCLTech, NTT DATA, and Wipro. The expansion focuses on the delivery of Rubrik Agent Cloud and Rubrik Code Guardian.
Currently in private preview, Rubrik Code Guardian uses Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 model to evaluate cloned, air-gapped code repositories. The system conducts red-team analysis by testing repositories against multi-step threat scenarios to discover potential attack chains. Alok Agrawal stated that incorporating the tool into Project Hourglass ensures engineering teams can prioritize business impact and reduce risk.
The initiative follows a Rubrik Zero Labs report finding that 86% of cybersecurity and IT leaders expect the proliferation of AI agents to outpace their organization's security guardrails within the next year. To support this rollout, Project Hourglass provides partners with joint go-to-market resources, engineering access for deployments, and technical certification tracks.
