Bloom Energy Corporation Expands AI Power Solutions for Hardware Manufacturers

Bloom Energy Corporation is expanding its presence in the AI infrastructure sector by providing onsite power solutions to companies manufacturing AI hardware. The company recently expanded its partnership with MiTAC Computing Technology to deploy fuel cell systems for an islanded microgrid at a manufacturing campus in Fremont, California. This deployment follows a previous installation at a MiTAC facility in San Jose.

These onsite solutions address critical power constraints and grid interconnection delays currently hindering AI infrastructure firms. Bloom Energy Corporation provides approximately 250 megawatts of contracted capacity to nearly two dozen companies in this sector.

Beyond hardware manufacturing, the company has secured large-scale strategic agreements to support AI build-outs. These include a partnership with Oracle Corporation to deploy up to 2.8 gigawatts of power and a $25 billion agreement with Brookfield Asset Management to accelerate the development of AI infrastructure.
