Silver One and Silver X Advance Silver Mining Projects
Silver One Resources Inc. restarts its Nevada drilling program while Silver X Mining Corp. expands underground operations in Peru to grow mineral resources.
Two silver mining companies launched significant operational updates on July 22, 2026. Silver One Resources Inc. announced the restart of its drilling campaign at the Candelaria Silver Project in Nevada. The project, originally announced in May, had been halted after operational failures led to the abandonment of its first drill hole. The company has now contracted Major Drilling to execute a 20,000-25,000-meter program consisting of reverse-circulation and diamond drilling to expand resources and test new silver-oxide and porphyry targets.
Simultaneously, Silver X Mining Corp. expanded its underground diamond drilling program at the Red Silver Project in Huancavelica, Peru. The company increased the planned scope from 1,200 meters to approximately 6,650 meters following high-grade channel sampling results, which included 735 g/t Ag over 65 meters of strike. This expansion is part of a strategy to reach 6 million AgEq ounces of annual production by 2029.
Both companies are leveraging existing infrastructure to optimize costs. Silver X is drilling from underground workings located 8 kilometers from its processing plant, while Silver One is focused on condemnation drilling for future infrastructure planning at the Candelaria site.
