Samsung Releases Fourth One UI 9 Beta for Galaxy S26

Samsung Electronics released the fourth One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series on July 14, 2026. The update is based on Android 17, is approximately 1.25GB in size, and includes the July 5, 2026 security patch.

This firmware version, ZZG4, focuses on performance optimization and resolves several software glitches. Fixed issues include abnormal lock screen clock sizes, disappearing navigation bars during gameplay, cut-off timer notifications, and malfunctions within the Quick Panel and Routines app.

The beta is currently available in South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, and the UK, with a release for the US expected soon. Samsung plans to officially debut One UI 9 on the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 following an announcement scheduled for July 22.
