Ondas Inc. Targets FEMA Grants for Counter-Drone Security
Ondas Inc. will showcase its aerial security portfolio at a November forum to secure state and local contracts funded by $500 million in FEMA grants.
Ondas Inc. will participate in the 2nd Annual Countering the Threat: Drone Security Industry & SLTT Grant Forum on November 9, 2026. The company intends to position its Aerial Security portfolio to support state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies following a significant expansion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Grant Program.
FEMA has committed $500 million in total funding for domestic counter-drone capabilities. A second phase of $250 million is now available to all 50 states, five territories, and the District of Columbia. The program prioritizes security for the nationwide Olympic torch relay and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Ondas offers a suite of detection and mitigation technologies, including Sentrycs Cyber-over-RF technology and Dronebuster handheld systems. The company previously deployed these capabilities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Jacksonville Jaguars NFL games. The upcoming forum is co-hosted by the White House Task Force on the 2028 Summer Olympics.
