Mohan Yadav Secures ₹90,000 Crore Investment Proposals in Mumbai

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav secured ₹90,000 crore in investment proposals during a Mumbai roadshow to boost renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and IT sectors.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav secured investment proposals totaling approximately ₹90,000 crore during an investment roadshow and interactive session in Mumbai on October 8, 2026. The proposals target renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, textiles, IT, and chemicals, and are expected to create between 14,000 and 15,000 jobs.

Renewable energy emerged as the primary driver of interest with proposals worth ₹71,289 crore, including a ₹47,000 crore commitment from ACME Global. Other major projects include a ₹7,500 crore phased investment by Bhilosa Industries at the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, a ₹3,000 crore greenfield project by Sun Pharma in Pithampur, and a ₹1,260 crore semiconductor-grade silane gas plant by Inox Air Products.

During the event, Yadav held a roundtable with diplomatic representatives from Japan, Mexico, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Egypt, and South Africa, inviting them to serve as partner countries for the Global Investors Summit scheduled for January 2027. He promoted the state as a hub of opportunities, citing its central location, surplus electricity, and an industrial land bank of 1.25 lakh acres.

Yadav noted that the state government supports industrial growth through more than 25 different schemes. He further reported that over 30 percent of the ₹34 lakh crore in proposals from a previous Global Investors Summit have already been implemented on the ground.
