Conair Recalls 12,000 Cuisinart Gas Grills Over Glass Hazard
Conair is recalling more than 12,000 Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-in-1 Gas Grills after reports that pizza oven windows can shatter during use.
Conair Corporation is recalling more than 12,000 Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-in-1 Gas Grills, model CGG-6331, due to a laceration hazard. The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that the tempered glass window in the unit's pizza oven can shatter during use, posing a risk of serious injury.
There have been 37 reports of shattered glass and one report of a fire, though no injuries have been documented. The affected grills were sold at Walmart, Lowe's, and online between December 2024 and May 2026 for prices ranging from $500 to $750. While most reports list May 2026 as the end of the sale period, one source indicates the sales may have ended in May 2025.
Owners are instructed to stop using the grills immediately. To receive a refund, customers must remove the glass window and provide photo verification via the Conair website. Once verified, owners will receive a $500 refund by check or full reimbursement of the purchase price upon providing a receipt.
