Google Cloud reported a significant 82% year-over-year revenue increase to $24.8 billion in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Google Search continues to serve as the company's primary financial engine, maintaining a 91% global market share and accounting for nearly 53% of the $119.8 billion in total second-quarter revenue.
As of September 15, the company's stock had risen 10.5% for the year, though it trailed the S&P 500. Alphabet currently trades at 16.7 times its projected earnings, the lowest valuation among the Magnificent Seven stocks.
