RPM International Inc. to Acquire Italy's Volteco S.p.A.

RPM International Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Volteco S.p.A., an Italy-based supplier specializing in below-grade waterproofing solutions. The company will integrate Volteco into its Tremco Construction Products Group to expand its technology platform and accelerate global growth.

Headquartered in Ponzano Veneto, Volteco reported sales of €28 million for the 2025 calendar year. The firm is recognized for its Amphibia waterproofing sheet membrane and repair materials, which have been used in historical landmarks in Venice and the Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan.

Frank Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of RPM International Inc., stated that Volteco is an "excellent complement" to the product lines of the Tremco Construction Products Group. He noted that the acquisition allows the group to leverage new technologies through its global sales force to enhance its "Power of One" value proposition for customers.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, pending customary closing conditions.
