Nvidia Corp. Reportedly Leases Texas Data Center for $19.6 Billion

Nvidia Corp. reportedly signed a multi-billion dollar lease for Hut 8's Beacon Point data center campus in Texas to support large-scale AI operations.

Nvidia Corp. reportedly signed leases for the Beacon Point data center campus in Texas, with a base-term contract value of $19.6 billion over 15 years. The total value of the agreement could reach $50.2 billion if renewal options are exercised.

The 1-gigawatt facility, owned by Hut 8 Mining Corp., is intended to support large-scale AI training and operations. While Hut 8 previously referred to the tenant only as an "existing investment-grade customer," the Financial Times identified the company as Nvidia Corp.

Reports suggest the technology company may sublease the property to neocloud partners who buy its GPUs to sell AI cloud computing services. An Nvidia Corp. spokesperson did not confirm the lease but stated the company is working with partners to accelerate AI infrastructure deployment through its DSX AI factory architecture.
