Google Launches Pixel 11 Series With AI Camera Upgrades
Google released the Pixel 11 series featuring AI-driven Magic Capture and Instant Night Sight to improve low-light photography and video highlights.
Google released the Pixel 11 series, introducing significant hardware and software upgrades focused on camera performance. The Pixel 11 Pro debuts Magic Capture, an AI-driven mode that utilizes Gemini to automatically select and save highlight photos from video footage.
The new series includes Instant Night Sight, which the company claims captures low-light images up to 4.5 times faster than previous iterations. Hardware enhancements include a new Image Signal Processor and a larger 48MP main sensor for the standard Pixel 11 model. The standard device now supports zoom levels up to 30x.
Pro models feature an improved telephoto lens with a closer minimum focusing distance to enhance macro capabilities. While the Pixel 11 Pro demonstrates improved portrait quality and competitive telephoto performance against the iPhone 17 Pro Max, it continues to trail some Chinese manufacturers, such as Honor, in raw telephoto detail.
