Motorola Unveils Edge 70 Plus and New Hardware at IFA 2026

Motorola introduced the Edge 70 Plus smartphone, a luxury Razr 70 foldable, and the Watch Ultra wearable during the IFA 2026 consumer electronics show in Berlin.

Motorola unveiled a new lineup of hardware at the IFA 2026 consumer electronics show in Berlin, headlined by the Edge 70 Plus mid-range smartphone. The device features a 6.78-inch 144Hz quad-curved AMOLED display with 5,200 nits peak brightness and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Hardware specifications include a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and a 200-megapixel main camera with 10x Super Zoom and optical image stabilization.

Built to MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards with IP64 resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the Edge 70 Plus runs Android 16. It integrates Google Gemini natively, supporting Gemini Live and Circle to Search. The phone will launch in Europe and the Middle East in four Pantone-validated colors—Mountain View, Gray Lilac, Milky Blue, and Sage—priced at £529.99 / €599.99 for the 256GB model. There are no plans for a USA release.

Other debuts included the Razr 70 with Crystals by Swarovski, a limited-edition foldable from the Brilliant Collection priced at £900 / €1000. The company also launched the Watch Ultra, a premium wearable featuring Wear OS and health tracking developed with Polar. Additionally, Motorola presented the Motorola Snap, a Qi2.2 25W magnetic wireless charger, although reports indicate the new phones do not support this specific charger.
