SiMa.ai Raises $150 Million to Scale Physical AI

SiMa.ai raised $150 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its total capital to $500 million and its valuation to $1.45 billion. The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research and Amplify Partners, with additional participation from Dell Technologies Capital, JP Morgan, and other investment firms.

The company develops energy-efficient chips and software designed to run AI directly on physical devices, including drones, automotive systems, and humanoid robots. This approach reduces reliance on cloud computing and expensive GPUs. SiMa.ai plans to use the new capital to scale its agentic software environment, Palette Neat, and accelerate the development of its Gen 3 platform, which targets 1,000 tera operations per second.

CEO Krishna Rangasayee stated that physical AI in these sectors is the gateway to a $50 trillion market that has remained largely untouched by modern innovation. Amplify Partners noted that the company has reduced the complexity of deploying advanced AI models on physical edge devices, accelerating the time to market for autonomous systems.
