easyJet Launches Multiple New UK Routes for Summer 2027

Budget airline easyJet announced a significant expansion of its summer 2027 schedule, introducing numerous new international routes from several UK airports. The airline is launching flights from Birmingham to Milan Malpensa and Tivat, Montenegro, while adding services from Aberdeen to Barcelona and Mallorca, and from Edinburgh to Tivat, Hamburg, Bilbao, and Rome Fiumicino.

In England, the airline is adding two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Murcia and Girona, the latter marking the first time easyJet has flown to Girona from the UK. At London Southend Airport, easyJet will add a fourth based Airbus A320neo aircraft and launch a new route to Rhodes, Greece. This expansion in Southend is expected to support roughly 400 jobs and contribute £27 million to the local economy.

Further growth includes a new weekly service from Newcastle Airport to Larnaca, Cyprus, increasing the airline's Newcastle destinations to 32. This follows the establishment of a Newcastle base in March 2026, which has already seen the destination line-up more than quadruple. Additionally, easyJet is launching nine new winter routes from Newcastle to destinations including Reykjavik, Marrakech, and Rovaniemi. easyJet holidays is offering package deals for several of these new beach destinations, including Tivat, Mallorca, Girona, and Murcia.
