Boeing and SPEEA Resume Contract Talks After Offer Rejection

Boeing and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees Association will resume contract negotiations on August 31 after workers rejected the company's latest offer.

Boeing and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees Association (SPEEA) will resume contract negotiations on August 31. The discussions stalled last week after SPEEA members, representing approximately 17,000 engineers and technical workers, overwhelmingly rejected the company's most recent contract offer.

A union survey of nearly 13,000 members identified immediate guaranteed wage increases as the primary priority for the workforce. Other key demands include higher annual performance-based raises and improved cost-of-living adjustments.

A union spokesman confirmed the scheduled meeting, though Boeing has not yet issued a comment regarding the upcoming negotiations.
