Leaked Specs Reveal Google Pixel Watch 5 Hardware and AI Features

Google is expected to announce the Pixel Watch 5 on August 12 after leaks revealed upgraded storage, a new processor, and Gemini AI integration.

Leaked marketing materials and specification sheets have detailed the hardware and software updates for the upcoming Pixel Watch 5 ahead of its official announcement. Google is expected to unveil the smartwatch at its Made by Google hardware event on August 12, 2026.

The device will reportedly launch in 41mm and 45mm sizes, featuring 64GB of storage and a potential increase to 3GB of RAM to support on-device AI. It is expected to run Wear OS 7 and utilize an Accelerated Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor. Battery capacities are listed at 332 mAh and 465 mAh, though estimated battery life remains between 30 and 40 hours.

Software integration focuses on Gemini Intelligence, featuring an Ask Gemini tool for proactive suggestions and context-aware replies. Health and safety features include a pulse detection system that automatically calls for help, heart rate variability tracking, irregular-rhythm notifications, and blood oxygen monitoring. The watch will also support the Fitbit Personal Health Coach and an Ask Coach feature for data analysis.

Industry leaker Evan Blass recently published official marketing images and renders showing a design largely unchanged from the Pixel Watch 4. Hardware updates also include a second-generation sport band made of hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber.
