Corporate Executives Adopt Personal AI Agents for Administration
Executives from firms including Adobe and KPMG are using personal AI agents to automate administrative tasks, financial negotiations, and travel planning.
Executives at major firms including Adobe, Anduril, KPMG, Uniphore, and Zendesk are increasingly integrating personal AI agents like ChatGPT and Meta's Muse into their private administrative workflows. These leaders use the tools to automate tasks such as booking medical appointments, managing expense reports, and monitoring global social media discourse.
Some leaders have achieved direct financial gains through these tools. Zendesk CEO Tom Eggemeier reported reducing his annual phone and internet costs by approximately $2,000 by using AI agents to negotiate service plans. Other applications include home automation and complex trip planning.
Despite the efficiency gains, several executives maintain strict human-in-the-loop protocols to mitigate the risk of AI hallucinations. Todd Lohr, the AI Chief at KPMG, and Jeff Miller of Anduril both require final manual approval before an agent executes any transaction or sends external communications to ensure accuracy.
