Pakistan Military Chief Meets Indonesian and Lebanese Officials

Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir held separate meetings with high-ranking security officials from Indonesia and Lebanon at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.

During discussions with Indonesian Naval Chief Admiral Dr. Muhammad Ali, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with existing military-to-military ties. They reaffirmed a commitment to expand cooperation through joint exercises, professional training, and broader defense collaboration. Admiral Ali praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and their contribution to regional stability.

Field Marshal Munir also met with Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al Hajjar during the minister's two-day visit to Pakistan. The officials focused on the evolving regional security environment and the necessity of strengthening institutional linkages between the security institutions of Pakistan and Lebanon.
