Finland GDP Grows 0.5 Percent in Third Quarter

Statistics Finland reported that the Finnish economy expanded by 0.5 percent sequentially in the third quarter of 2026. This flash data indicates an acceleration in growth compared to the 0.3 percent increase recorded in the second quarter.

Monthly figures show economic output rose 2.0 percent annually in September, surpassing the revised 1.3 percent growth seen in August. On a monthly basis, GDP grew by 0.2 percent in September after remaining flat in the prior month.

The government agency is scheduled to publish detailed data for the third quarter on November 27.
