Broadcom Revenue Surges 85% to $29.6 Billion on AI Demand
Broadcom Inc. reported a third-quarter revenue increase of 85.5% to $29.591 billion, driven by AI semiconductor demand and a massive custom chip deal with Apple Inc.
Broadcom Inc. reported a significant increase in its third-quarter fiscal results, with revenue rising 85.5% to $29.591 billion compared to $15.952 billion in the previous year. The company's profit for the period totaled $13.088 billion, or $2.68 per share, marking a substantial increase from the $4.140 billion, or $0.85 per share, reported in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings for the quarter reached $16.372 billion, or $3.32 per share.
These financial gains follow a period of high investor anticipation fueled by the AI semiconductor market and a recently expanded partnership with Apple Inc. worth over $30 billion for custom chips. Looking forward, the company provided revenue guidance of $34.8 billion for the next quarter.
Despite the strong growth and positive guidance, Broadcom stock experienced losses on Wednesday following the announcement.
