Entrepreneur Simon Galbraith Donates £500,000 to Restore Britain

IT entrepreneur Simon Galbraith, owner of Cade Hill Investments, donated £500,000 to the Restore Britain party through two separate contributions of £250,000. Rupert Lowe, the Member of Parliament who founded Restore Britain after departing Reform UK, announced the funding on Tuesday.

Galbraith stated the donations were driven by his belief that the British state is "centralised, bloated and incompetent" and that a victory for Restore Britain would "spark a British renaissance." While the total is less than donations received by Nigel Farage's Reform UK, the funds increase Restore Britain's capacity to compete for voters on the right of the political spectrum.

The donation occurs amid ongoing tensions between the two parties. Nigel Farage previously rejected a proposal from Lowe to collaborate on policies including mass deportation and a referendum on the death penalty, accusing Lowe of being unstable during his tenure with Reform UK.
