Market gains were primarily driven by the Insurance, Real Estate Development, and Hotels & Tourism sectors. Traders reduced their expectations for interest rate hikes after a July Consumer Price Index report aligned with forecasts.
Tabuk Agriculture Development Co led the session's gainers with a 10.00% increase, while Knowledge Economic City rose 7.82% to reach a 52-week high. In contrast, some companies saw significant declines; Derayah Financial CJSC fell 3.61% to an all-time low, and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company dropped 3.92% to a five-year low.
Broader commodity markets mirrored the modest growth seen in the equity index, with both crude oil and gold futures recording slight increases.
