Deutsche Lufthansa AG Receives First A350-1000 for Centenary
Deutsche Lufthansa AG took delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000 featuring a special centenary livery to mark the airline's 100th anniversary.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG took delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000, an aircraft featuring a special blue livery to commemorate the airline's 100th anniversary. The plane, registered as D-AIFA and named Deutschland, was painted at the Airbus plant in Toulouse with a white XXL crane and the text "1926 | 2026" and "100".
This delivery marks the 700th aircraft Airbus has provided to the Lufthansa Group. The A350-1000 is a long-haul model capable of transporting 300 passengers across four classes. Deutsche Lufthansa AG has ordered a total of 15 of these aircraft, with all deliveries expected by 2030.
The aircraft is currently undergoing final interior work and test flights. It is scheduled to be transferred to Munich this fall.
