The 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo opened on August 28 in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. The state-level event, themed "Token: A New Path to Value of Data Elements," focuses on five core areas: computing power infrastructure, data supply, model-driven development, security assurance, and intelligent experience.

The Government of China organized the expo, which attracted 372 domestic and international companies and over 16,000 registered guests. Exhibitors showcased cutting-edge technologies including robotic dogs, power inspection robots operated by vocal commands, smart robots for assisted mobility, a smart driving simulator, and floating wind power facilities.

To foster industrial collaboration, the event featured matchmaking sessions with four industrial parks and cross-border exchange activities involving more than 30 overseas enterprises. The host region, including the Gui’an New Area, has established a digital industrial cluster with 26 large-scale data centers. This infrastructure provides a total computing power capacity exceeding 174 EFLOPS and has helped the local software and information technology services industry generate revenue surpassing 100 billion yuan.
