Easy Green Mobility Rolls Out Electric Buses in Bhopal

Easy Green Mobility (EMTev), the electric mobility division of EaseMyTrip, has started deploying electric buses in Bhopal, India. The rollout marks the beginning of a Vision 2030 roadmap that targets an annual manufacturing capacity of 5,000 electric buses within the next five years.

The company's initial fleet consists of 12-metre electric seater coaches equipped with LFP batteries. These vehicles offer a 350 km range and a top speed of 100 km per hour. EMTev is developing an integrated mobility ecosystem that combines vehicle manufacturing and fleet operations with a strategy to localize components to decrease import dependency.

Future technical enhancements for the fleet include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and AI-enabled driver monitoring. The initiative focuses on combining long-range battery technology and safety with reduced operating costs to create value for the broader Indian mobility ecosystem.
