Bank7 Corp. Agrees to Acquire Century Bank for $137 Million

Bank7 Corp. entered a definitive agreement to acquire Century Financial Services Corporation for $137 million, expanding its banking footprint into New Mexico.

Bank7 Corp. entered into a definitive merger agreement on September 17, 2026, to acquire 100% of the outstanding common stock of Century Financial Services Corporation, the holding company for New Mexico-based Century Bank. The transaction is valued at approximately $137 million, comprising $70 million in cash and 1,232,657 shares of Bank7 Corp. common stock.

The acquisition expands Bank7's presence into the Southwest market, specifically Santa Fe, and will create a combined organization with roughly $3.3 billion in total assets. Bank7 intends to retain the Century Bank name and brand following the merger. This agreement serves as the preferred path for Bank7 Corp., which had previously secured a bid for a 71% controlling interest in Century through a receivership proceeding in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.

President and CEO Thomas L. Travis stated the transaction represents a disciplined use of excess capital and positions the organization to deliver high-touch service to more business owners. Century Bank CEO Max Myers described the merger as an opportunity to create a stronger banking institution for customers and employees. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
