SailPoint Launches Identity Security Solution for AI Agents
SailPoint released its Identity Security platform to manage human and machine identities and neutralize vulnerabilities in AI-driven environments.
SailPoint Technologies announced the general availability of its SailPoint Identity Security solution on August 4, 2026. The platform addresses a critical security gap where 97% of AI agents have access to sensitive data, yet only 21% of organizations express confidence in managing those risks.
The solution comprises two core components: SailPoint Human Fabric, which transitions identity governance from periodic audits to continuous monitoring, and SailPoint Agentic Fabric, a control plane designed for managing machine and AI identities. Technical features include Just-In-Time Provisioning for administrative access and the redaction of personally identifiable information before data reaches large language models.
The company is offering the solution through Agentic Business and Agentic Business Plus suites, with KPMG Canada acting as an integration partner. Chandra Gnanasambandam, Executive Vice President of Product and Chief Technology Officer, stated that the platform represents a fundamental shift in how organizations neutralize identity vulnerabilities in an AI-driven world.
