Israel Defense Forces Dismantle Hezbollah Tunnels and Command Centers

The Israel Defense Forces dismantled an underground tunnel network and a weapons storage facility in the Srobbin area of southern Lebanon. The military stated the tunnel spanned dozens of meters and was used by Hezbollah to advance and execute attacks against Israeli soldiers. The seized weapons cache included Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, and various launchers.

In a separate operation, the military reported dismantling a multi-level command center beneath the Beaufort Ridge. This facility was allegedly funded by Iran and utilized by Hezbollah's Bader Unit to target northern Israel. These actions are part of a broader effort to remove threats to Israeli civilians.

These military developments coincide with the seventh round of United States-mediated negotiations in Rome. Lebanese and Israeli officials are currently discussing border issues, security verification mechanisms, and the establishment of pilot zones to facilitate Israeli withdrawal and the transition to Lebanese army control.
