Belarus Holds High-Level Talks With Mongolia and Uzbekistan
President Alexander Lukashenko and other Belarusian officials met with leaders from Mongolia and Uzbekistan to expand trade, industrial cooperation, and diplomatic ties.
Belarus hosted a series of high-level diplomatic and economic meetings on October 26 to strengthen international partnerships. President Alexander Lukashenko held official talks with Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa during a state visit to establish a new direction for bilateral cooperation. The two leaders committed to expanding relations across agriculture, healthcare, education, and security, with a specific focus on increasing trade and investment under the Interim Trade Agreement between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Simultaneously, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich met with Zoyir Mirzayev, the Governor of the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. The officials focused on expanding industrial cooperation and attracting investment to the Tashkent region. Their discussions centered on establishing partnerships between manufacturing enterprises and exchanging technical expertise to translate new initiatives into practical economic results.
These separate engagements reflect a broader Belarusian effort to advance socio-economic ties and coordinate international efforts within the United Nations and other global organizations.
