Google Launches Pixel 11 Lineup With AI Camera Tools
Google released the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro smartphones featuring the Tensor G6 processor and new AI-driven computational photography tools.
Google released the Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, featuring a baseline flagship and a high-end Pixel 11 Pro model. The baseline Pixel 11 is priced at $899 and includes a 6.3-inch screen, the Tensor G6 processor, and built-in Qi2.2 magnets for accessory compatibility. To attract iPhone users, the company introduced the Android Switch app for iOS data migration, alongside software tools like Live Translate for media dubbing and Rambler voice dictation.
The Pixel 11 Pro focuses on computational photography, introducing Instant Night Sight to eliminate shutter wait times in low-light settings. The Pro model also features Camera Looks to reduce over-processed imagery and 5x Portrait zoom. Both models include Magic Capture, an AI tool that extracts still photos from video clips, though initial reviews describe it as a secondary feature.
While the hardware offers strong battery life and a 5x telephoto lens with 30x digital zoom, the devices struggle with high-end gaming performance when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Apple iPhone 17. Critics noted that software advancements like Instant Night Sight provide more practical user value than raw hardware specifications or extreme zoom capabilities.
