PepsiCo Targets Margin Growth and High Dividend Yields
PepsiCo is positioning itself as a high-income investment with a 4.66% dividend yield and targets for increased operating margins and earnings growth.
PepsiCo, Inc. is positioning itself as a strong income investment for 2026 and beyond, offering a forward dividend yield of 4.66%. This yield is more than four times the S&P 500 average, supported by a 54-year streak of annual dividend increases.
To sustain this growth and maintain payouts, management aims to increase operating margins by at least 100 basis points over the next three years. The company is targeting high-single-digit earnings growth, bolstered by a record trailing-12-month free cash flow of $9.2 billion. Financial outlooks are further improved by the expected roll-off of nearly $1 billion in tax payments by 2027.
Recent performance indicators show the company's strongest volume growth since 2022. In the second quarter, food volumes rose 3% and beverage volumes increased 2% year over year.
