Google Cloud Opens First Southeast Asia Engineering Center

Google Cloud opened its first engineering center in Southeast Asia in Singapore on September 15, 2026. The facility serves as a product development hub focused on creating cloud systems and solutions for deployment within Singapore and other international markets.

The center employs software engineers specializing in artificial intelligence, AI infrastructure, data, computing, machine learning, networking, storage, and frontline support. Google Cloud stated that the center will collaborate with enterprises to develop these specialized cloud technologies.
