Abba Yusuf Nominates Murtala Garo as 2027 Running Mate

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf nominated his deputy, Murtala Garo, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election. The announcement took place Monday during a strategic meeting with federal political appointees at the Kano Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

Yusuf, who has already been adopted as the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, selected Garo based on his loyalty, competence, and contributions to the state's development.
