Opsin Raises $21 Million to Secure Enterprise AI Agents

Opsin raised $21 million in funding to provide a governance platform that detects and contains misbehavior in autonomous AI agents across enterprise systems.

AI governance platform Opsin raised $21 million in a funding round led by SYN Ventures and Race Capital on October 15, 2026. The company provides a security layer designed to monitor goal-oriented AI agents across platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Gemini.

Founded by James Pham, Oz Wasserman, and Jeremy Mailen, Opsin connects an agent's purpose and permissions to its activity. This allows the platform to identify when behaviors deviate from intended goals, mitigating risks such as system disruption or unauthorized data exposure. The company currently serves nearly 20 enterprise customers, including Wellstar Health System, UiPath, Culligan, and Barry-Wehmiller.

Opsin will use the new capital to expand its platform and help businesses scale their adoption of autonomous agents. Investors noted that while enterprises are racing to adopt these tools, a fundamental trust gap remains regarding access to sensitive data and the potential for agents to go off course as they gain more authority to act on behalf of employees.
