Farming Syndicate Buys Warrindilla Property for $7.6 Million

A local farming syndicate purchased the Warrindilla property for $7.6 million during an auction held by Moree Real Estate on July 30, 2026. The final sale price represents approximately $5,511 per hectare for the freehold land.

The New South Wales property encompasses 1,379 hectares, comprising 1,224 hectares of cultivation and 154 hectares of grazing country. When including a TSR permit and permissive occupancy, the total holding extends to 1,595 hectares. Situated on the Castlereagh River, the land features self-mulching black and grey soils and includes a rainwater tank and machinery shed.

Auctioneer Paul Kelly initiated bidding at $5.5 million. Of the five registered buyers, three actively participated in the bidding process. Three water licenses totaling 3,789 units remain available for separate sale following the land transaction.
