The survey, conducted between June 29 and July 6 among 1,578 adults, indicates that Becerra maintains his lead across most major state regions and demographic groups.
Environmental issues emerged as a critical priority for the electorate, with 85% of likely voters stating that the candidates' positions on the environment are important. Respondents identified wildfires as the primary environmental concern facing the state, followed by climate change, water supply, and government overregulation.
Additionally, the poll revealed a majority of Californians oppose the construction of new data centers in their local areas. The general election for the governorship is scheduled for November 3, 2026.
