Election officials in Michigan and New Hampshire are processing absentee and early ballots ahead of the November 3 General Election.

Election officials in Michigan and New Hampshire are coordinating absentee and early voting procedures for the General Election on November 3, 2026. In Michigan, the process is being conducted under new state regulations for early and absentee voting for the first time.

Justin Roebuck, the Ottawa County Clerk, reported that 67 percent of absentee ballots have been returned in his jurisdiction. He noted that more than 11,000 ballots were submitted during the nine-day early voting window.

In New Hampshire, Secretary of State David Scanlan announced that all absentee ballots have been mailed to city and town clerk offices. Qualified voters in the state must request ballots from local clerks by a deadline of November 2 at 5 p.m. for both in-person and mail-in requests.
