UAE Ranks First Globally in FinTech Skills

The United Arab Emirates leads the world in FinTech skills and ranks second in AI talent attraction according to a new labor market report.

The United Arab Emirates has emerged as a global leader in specialized labor markets, ranking first worldwide in FinTech skills and second in attracting artificial intelligence talent relative to its population size. According to the UAE Economic Graph Report 2026, hiring activity and inbound talent flows improved by June 2026 after a volatile start to the year.

The report, produced by LinkedIn and the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, indicates that the UAE has one of the strongest global labor market recoveries since the pandemic. Real estate experienced the most significant hiring growth compared to 2019 levels, while the education, construction, healthcare, and logistics sectors also maintained above-average hiring rates.

Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi attributed these gains to national economic policies and long-term visa programs. He stated that the results confirm the success of policies designed to build a business environment that attracts quality investments and the brightest minds to support a sustainable economy.
