Angus Energy Repays £3.9 Million in First Cash Sweep

Angus Energy completed its first cash sweep following financial restructuring, repaying £3.9 million to settle an ORRI liability and reduce senior debt.

Angus Energy completed its first cash sweep following a recent financial restructuring, resulting in the full repayment of a £1.95 million ORRI Cash Amount and a £1.996 million prepayment toward its Trafigura senior debt facility.

Since June 24, 2026, the company has repaid a total of £5.241 million in debt principal. This reduction brings the outstanding Trafigura facility down to approximately £22.7 million.

The company announced that all future cash sweep proceeds will now be directed exclusively toward the Trafigura facility. This shift is intended to accelerate the company's deleveraging strategy while it continues to invest in operational growth.
