Nova Ltd. and Novo Nordisk Report Q2 Earnings Growth

Nova Ltd. and Novo Nordisk reported second-quarter revenue increases driven by customer demand and obesity care, though both companies saw initial stock price dips.

Two major corporations reported second-quarter financial results on August 6, 2026, both showing revenue growth despite subsequent stock price declines.

Nova Ltd. reported total revenues of $254.9 million, up from $219.9 million the previous year. The company attributed this increase to market share gains and demand within leading-edge device segments. Net income reached $75.0 million, or $2.20 per diluted share. For the third quarter, the company forecasts revenue between $277 million and $287 million. Despite these results, shares traded down 2.58 percent to $392.00 in pre-market hours on the Nasdaq.

Simultaneously, Novo Nordisk A/S announced second-quarter earnings that exceeded market expectations, with revenue beating projections by 10% and earnings per share by over 20%. Adjusted revenues grew 7% year-over-year, fueled by international expansion and obesity care, which helped offset competition and pricing headwinds in the United States. Operating profit rose 11% due to cost reduction efforts, leading the company to raise its financial guidance for the second time this year. Like Nova Ltd., Novo Nordisk shares experienced a dip following the announcement.
