Israel Kills Hamas Security Chief and Raids West Bank

Israel Defense Forces killed Hamas internal security chief Wael Musa Khaled Ladawi in Gaza and shut down a radio station in the West Bank.

The Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency announced Monday that an airstrike in the Deir al-Balah area of the central Gaza Strip killed Wael Musa Khaled Ladawi, the head of Hamas’s internal security apparatus. Israeli officials stated Ladawi managed a clandestine body used to collect intelligence for terrorist attacks. Weekend operations also killed Abd Al-Nasser Al-Aziz Maqadmeh of Hamas and Amro Abu Alrish of the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad, while units in northern Gaza destroyed a tunnel network stretching hundreds of meters.

These actions occurred under a U.S.-brokered ceasefire established on October 10, 2025, which permits the IDF to maintain control over more than half of Gaza.

On Tuesday, Israeli forces expanded operations into the West Bank, raiding the city of Qalqilya and the village of Kafr Qaddum. In Qalqilya, military forces stormed the headquarters of Al-Huda Radio for the Holy Quran, confiscated equipment, and closed the station. The military declared the station an unlawful organization due to its alleged support for terrorism. In Kafr Qaddum, troops searched several homes and detained a Palestinian resident in the Shamiyah neighborhood and Al-Maghayir area.
