Spirit Christmas Opens 44 Stores Across 15 States
Spirit Christmas is expanding its holiday retail footprint to 44 locations across 15 states, including new stores in New York and Massachusetts.
The retail company behind Spirit Halloween is expanding its holiday-themed spinoff, Spirit Christmas, by opening 44 stores across 15 states this season. This represents an increase from the 30 locations operated last year. After debuting in the Northeast in 2024 and expanding into the Midwest in 2025, the company is now moving into the South with planned locations in Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
In the Northeast, the company will open four new locations in November 2026. Three stores will open in Massachusetts in Dartmouth, Natick, and North Attleboro. A fourth location will open at the Colonie Center in Albany, New York, occupying a former Christmas Tree Shops space. The Albany opening follows a two-year delay after the city was removed from the initial 2024 launch lineup.
These stores will offer thousands of items, including ornaments, festive clothing, and novelty gifts. The Albany location will also feature interactive experiences such as Inflatable Land and the Candy Cane Express. This expansion occurs alongside a broader plan to open approximately 1,500 Spirit Halloween pop-up stores nationwide this fall.
