Parsons Corporation received a $514 million contract option from the Missile Defense Agency to provide continued engineering and technical support services. The two-year agreement represents the second option under the Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) - Next Missile Defense System Engineering contract, which was originally awarded in 2021.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will conduct studies, analysis, evaluation, and oversight of the integrated Missile Defense System. These efforts specifically support programs designed to counter hypersonic weapons and ballistic missiles, extending a long-term partnership focused on the systems engineering and integration of United States missile defense infrastructure.
Mike Kushin, President of Defense and Intelligence for Parsons, stated that the need for integrated, battle-ready air and missile defense capabilities has never been greater as missile threats grow more advanced.
