Amazon.com Inc. plans to hire more than 300,000 workers for the upcoming holiday shopping season, marking a 20% increase in staffing compared to 2025. The recruitment drive encompasses a combination of full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles to handle the peak shopping period.

Temporary employees hired during this push will earn an average of $20 per hour. To incentivize seasonal staff to stay with the company into the new year, the company is offering medical benefits to employees who maintain a schedule of at least 30 hours per week through January.
