CPSC Recalls 26,000 Fabric Dressers Over Tip-Over Hazards

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission issued recall advisories for approximately 26,849 fabric dressers from two different brands due to tip-over and entrapment hazards. The recalled units violate the STURDY Act, a federal safety standard for clothing storage units. Regulators warned that the furniture becomes unstable if not anchored to a wall, posing a risk of serious injury or death to children.

The recall includes approximately 16,809 EnHomee 9-drawer dressers sold on Walmart.com by third-party seller Raybee-Direct between September 2023 and March 2026. These units, which cost about $80, were manufactured in China by Xuzhou Mingquanhe Household Co., Ltd. Additionally, 10,040 Romorgniz 12-drawer dressers sold on Amazon.com between May 2025 and March 2026 were recalled. These $90 units were manufactured by Changzhou Jiaxuan Intelligence Furniture Co., Ltd. and imported by Baituo Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.

No injuries have been reported to date. The commission advised consumers to stop using the dressers unless they are anchored to a wall and to keep them away from children. Both Raybee-Direct and Romorgniz are offering full refunds to customers who provide photographic proof that the products have been disposed of.
