Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Fails Durability Bend Test

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold failed a durability assessment conducted by Zack Nelson of the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. During a bend test, the device cracked along both antenna lines next to the hinge, and the front glass detached from the frame. This failure occurs at the same structural weak point seen in the original Pixel Fold, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

The results contradict claims from Google that the device was re-engineered to be three times stronger and that the hinge could withstand 83 million laboratory cycles. Further testing showed the exterior display scratched at level six on the Mohs scale, and fine particles entered the hinge despite the phone's IP68 rating.

Additional stress tests resulted in permanent damage to both the inner and outer OLED panels during a flame test.
