Egypt and Bahrain Leaders Coordinate Against Regional Attacks

Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of Egypt, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain held a summit in El Alamein on Wednesday to strengthen strategic cooperation and coordinate positions on regional crises. The meeting followed a preparatory telephone call between the two leaders on Monday.

During the bilateral talks, the leaders exchanged condemnations of recent security breaches targeting their countries. President al-Sisi condemned Iranian attacks on Bahrain and praised the Bahraini leadership's measures to protect the kingdom. In return, King Hamad condemned a recent attack on Egypt's Damietta Port and expressed solidarity with Egypt's efforts to protect its sovereignty and vital facilities.

The summit focused on deepening bilateral relations and promoting regional stability. Both leaders agreed to intensify consultation and coordinate common positions to restore peace across the region.
