Broadcom Prepares September Earnings Amid AI Revenue Surge

Broadcom Inc. is preparing to release its earnings report on September 2, 2026, following a period of significant AI-driven growth. The company reported a 143 percent year-over-year increase in second-quarter AI semiconductor revenue and now holds more than 70 percent of the market share in custom AI accelerator design.

Despite these gains, the company faces pressure on its gross margins. Analysts indicate that Broadcom is prioritizing sales volume over pricing within lower-margin AI segments, leading to a decline in overall margins.

Broadcom also manages significant customer concentration risk. A substantial portion of its AI revenue is generated by Alphabet Inc. and Meta Platforms Inc., though the company has begun to diversify its client base.
